My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette

I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas.  I have not had time to make a card for this weeks challenge but thought I would post the colour combo in case anyone wanted to have a go.  We had family from England visiting so I didn't have time to craft.

This weeks colours were taken from the Table for Two digital paper pack.

Check out the stunning inspiration from the My Time Made Easy pretty palette design team and I hope you can play along.

My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette Challenge

Christmas is coming!!!!  I am not sure who is more excited myself or our daughter.  She is at that lovely age where she can now understand what is going on.  I have done all my Christmas shopping for her now, but I think Father Christmas is just a bit confused as to what she would like.  Every TV advert is "WOW, I want that for Christmas."  I just have my husband to sort now but as always buying for men is so difficult.

Anyway enough chat lets get down to some colour fun at My Time Made Easy

Here is the colour palette:

and here is my card:

I have used the  Beautiful Baubles set along with Homemade Holiday Labels to frame the sentiment which I have then inked the edges.  The papers are called Candy Claus and the snowflake paper is a freebie which can be found HERE.  All the papers and digi stamps are all available in the My Time Made Easy Store.

My base card is kraft and I have used some corrugated card for texture and added some pink glitter to it.  The little jungle bell came from one of those rather nice chocolate reindeers from Lindt and I have added some more glitter to my sentiment along with some gems.

The Ribbon Reel - Nordic Noel

More Christmas!!!  This time the challenge is at The Ribbon Reel and along with the gorgeous photo below you had to use red, white, kraft, button, ribbon and twine.

I have used again the lovely Pink Petticoat for the backing papers.  The Christmas tree is a die that a crafting friend of mine had, so I had a little play.

I have used some kraft paper as a background to the tree die and have added some buttons with twine and ribbon for decoration.

The sentiment is also again from My Time Made Easy called beautiful baubles and I have change some of the letters to red using GIMP to match my card.

This called is also from the Challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenges - merry christmas

The Shabby Tea Room - Shabby Chic

Time for some Christmas Challenge fun!!!

At The Shabby Tea Room this week the challenge is to create a card or project inspired by the photo below and to use the colours pink, aqua, silver and add some glitter.

This photo is just so dreamy, I love it.

So here is my card:

I have used papers from Pink Petticoat and the background paper with the script is double printed using a snowflake paper.  I found the idea in a recent blog post on Pink Petticoat's Facebook page and here is the link to the crafters website, hope she doesn't mind jules-always with a heart

I have then used digi images and sentiment from My Time Made Easy called beautiful baubles which I have then coloured using GIMP and added some glitter and ribbon.

I have mat and layered parts of the card onto silver glitter card and added some silver gems to finish.

The layout for the card is from the sketch challenge over at Mojo Monday

Snowman!!!

Well I have been baking again.  I was asked by the school to make some cupcakes for the Christmas fair, so I had a little practice today.  Hope the children will like them.

I have used marshmallows for the snowman's face, with chocolate chips. for the eye and piping icing for the mouth and nose.  I have then added a sugar lace for the scarf.

The cupcakes themselves are just a basic vanilla sponge and I have added some chocolate chips.

I will show them to my daughter when she arrives home from school, I think she will like the look of them but she is really funny when it comes to mum's cupcakes, she would rather eat a shop bought one, lol!!!

More craft fair makes

Hello all, I have got some more Christmas craft fair makes to show you.  Thought I would make a start while my daughter is at school so she doesn't keep pinching the marshmallows.  This time I have made some Snowman Soup.  I made the little sweetie pouch from a free download at Waltzing Mouse stamps which can be found HERE.  The papers I have used are from Pink Petticoat called fairy lights which I have used throughout this years cards and can be found on previous posts on my blog.

For my Snowman soap I have used a sachet of hot chocolate, two snowman chocolate lolly's and some marshmallow's, all bought from the local supermarket.

I have then made a little flag with Snowman soup written in French.  I just hope the school likes the idea!!

Dolly Pegs!!

I have been thinking about what else I can make for daughters school Christmas fair, then I thought dolly pegs!!!

I asked my mother in law whilst in England to pick some up for me as I couldn't find any in France and a big thank you to her as she went everywhere trying to find some.

So my idea was to make little angels.

I have covered my peg in glitter and added some organza material to make the skirt. I then used a friends die to make the wings from glitter card and added some embroidery thread for the hair.

I added some ribbon to hang the angel from the tree and a little gem to make it look like she is wearing a necklace.

I think they are really cute and really cheap to make.

Here is a picture of them hanging in my daughters pink tree which I said she could have for her room.

This project is for the challenge at Its all about the Vintage and you had to use glitter, I just hope that dolly pegs are classed as something from the past!!!

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette

I am feeling still very festive, the mince pies are safely stashed away in my cupboard but not sure for how long.

Its colour fun time over at My Time Made Easy and look at the gorgeous colour palette for the challenge:

When I saw these colours again I thought male Christmas so I decided to make a card for my daughter to give to her Daddy but it could be suitable for all.

I have used paper set called Candy Claus and I have printed the papers onto pearlescent paper.  The digi image can be found HERE which is called Mr Claus and I have coloured him in using promakers and glitter.  The sentiment is also from My Time Made Easy called Beautiful Baubles.  I have added some ribbon and stars to finish my card.

Come and get festive and join in the fun!!!!

Tic Tac Toe

Well I have started to feel all festive!  I am so excited for my In Laws to return from England with  our family's Christmas treats.  There are certain things I miss living in France and shop bought mince pies are one of them.  I am afraid they probably won't last till Christmas, oops!!

Anyway with Christmas in mind again (I Just love it) the challenge this week over at The Shabby Tea Room is tic tac toe.

Here is the table and I have chosen to use stitching (faux), gems and glitter:

and here is the beautiful photo for inspiration:

and my card

I have used backing papers from Pink Petticoat and the image is from Fresh Brewed Designs called Christmas Holly which I have coloured with promarkers and added glitter to her dress.

Then I have added some flowers and glittered stars to embellish my card.

Purple and Gold Festive Greetings

Here is another Christmas card this time I have used the colour challenge at CR84FN Color Challenge which I thought are so rich a luxurious.

The backing paper is from Pink Petticoat and the stamped image is from a set available at Annabelle Stamps.  I have used this stamp set a lot for some of my Christmas cards for this year as it seems it be so versatile and the stamp quality is brilliant.

The layout for the card is taken from the challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge.

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette

The time comes around some quickly for another fun colour challenge at My Time Made Easy.  I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween and didn't eat to many sweets!!

Here is this weeks Pretty Palette:

I saw these colours and thought I wonder if I can make a male card.  This is the one thing I have problems with.

So here is my card:

I have used the For Dad digital stamp set from My Time Made Easy.  I used the rosette and added a origami paper shirt.  I also used papers from my stash.  I have also added some ribbon and gems to finish the card and inked the edges of my paper in black.

I thought this card would be great for a birthday or Father's day even though its a bit early but I like to be prepared.

Happy Halloween

We are having a Halloween party at home this evening so I thought I would share with you my idea for little party favours for the children.

I have made lolly pop holders as I wanted something quick and simple.  I have used Hauntingly Homemade papers and and Hauntingly Homemade labels which are from My Time Made Easy.

All I did was make a little tent shape, which I hope you can see from the photograph and glued the top together to hold the lolly in place.

I also did a bit of baking and made some chocolate chip cupcakes.  I found this free cupcake topper headstone while browsing the Internet you can find them HERE at Elle's Studio.

More cakes, this time mummy cupcakes.

Have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Fresh Brewed Designs - Ballerina Christmas

After such a fun blog hop thought I would post a card using a digi stamp from Fresh Brewed Designs.

I made this card at a request of a friend for her niece and I wanted something a bit girlie.  The papers are from Pink Petticoat called fairy lights, which I just love as its feature alot in my Christmas cards for this year.  I have coloured the image using promarker and added some glitter and glossy accents to the tree.  You can't have Christmas without sparkle!!!

The little pink star I bought from a local shop which sells everything for parties, weddings etc....   I also cut some of the snowflakes from one of the papers to add extra embellishments to my card.

My Time Made Easy - Pretty Palette

With Halloween just around the corner I thought I would make this card with that in mind.  After all my daughter is totally obsessed with all things spooky at the moment.  So I thought this card would be perfect for her, along with a little treat bag.  Unfortunately the treats didn't last long!!!!

So to the My Time Made Easy Pretty Palette challenge, here is the colour palette:

and here is my card:

I have used papers called hauntingly Homemade and the digital stamp set I have used is called Hauntingly Homemade Labels.  Both items are from My Time Made Easy.  I have used a design program called GIMP to change the colour of the papers to match the challenge.  I have then added some black glitter to the writing with a quickie glue pen.  I also inked up the edges of the papers and added some corrugated kraft card to add some texture.
