Thunderstorm and Flowers

Oh dear, we are expecting a bit of a thunderstorm today so thought I should get this post up before it hits.  The weather office have issued an orange warning and to turn off all electrical items.  It is coming in rather cloudy but I hope it clears the air a little as it was hard to sleep last night.

Here is my card for today, a bright and cheerful one!!

I have used a teapot and cup stamp from the Summer Bloom stamp set from Papermania.  I have stamped and heat embossed with pink embossing powder.

The papers I have used are from Dovecraft called Cupcake Boutique.

I then added some little paper roses to the teapot and a little row of summery bunting to finish my card.

This card is for the challenge at The Shabby Tea Room.

The challenge is to be inspired by the photo and include lace and flowers in your project.

Summer Time

Morning all and what a lovely day, hot and sunny again.

So with the lovely weather in mind here is todays card, ice cream anyone?

My daughter is off to a party at the weekend and I thought this would be perfect for a 5 year old

The images and papers are from Pink Petticoat which sadly are not available any more but check out the website for other digital stamps.

I have used some glossy accents on the glass and glitter on top of the ice cream.  To finish I have added a few stars.

The card layout was taken from an old sketch at Mojo Monday

This card is for the challenge at The Pink Elephant - summer time.

Its July the sun is shining and I have made a Christmas card.  Our 2nd baby is due in December so thought I had better make a start.

And a lovely place to start is over at Festive Friday.  Check out the gorgeous inspiration photo.

and here is my card:

I have chosen to keep my card very clean something that I always find hard to do!!

The image stamp is from Annabelle Stamps called gifted swirls and I have heat embossed in silver.

I have then added a little resin star and some twine to finish.

Finally got a chance to craft!!

Well the summer holidays have started and we have just got back from a rather busy week with the family.  We have spent a week in a mobile home on a fantastic campsite in Benodet, France.  It was perfect for children.  My daughter has learnt to ride her bike without stabilisers and had some swimming lessons.  I highly recommend Eurocamp as the children's couriers are brilliant!!

So here is my card:

I have used papers and toppers from Printable Heaven called yummy cake recipes.
I used the strawberry shortcake recipe as strawberries to me mean summer!!!

I then added a few embellishments, the bunting, flowers and little chip board spoon.

This card is for the challenge at City Crafter and the challenge is to use chip board on your card.
